Content Policy

MemeVideo (memevideo.app)

1. Scope

This policy covers uploaded photos, prompts and generated videos, including sharing. You must be 18+.

2. Prohibited categories

2.1 Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance

We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors; terrorism, extremism or mass violence; technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction; genocide or ethnic hatred; and synthetic media impersonating real individuals, including invented statements or actions, whether or not they consent. Confirmed violations require immediate action and may be reported to authorities as required by law.

Deepfakes of real individuals, including face swaps, nudification, intimate-scene compositing, and fabricated statements or actions, whether or not the individuals consent.

2.3 General prohibited conduct

No harassment, fraud, privacy or publicity violations, passing AI-generated content off as human-created, or bypassing safety measures. Adult content is prohibited; there is no adult-content exception.

2.4 Source of uploaded material

Upload one clear, well-lit, head-to-waist photo of yourself or a person who has explicitly permitted this use. You must be 18 or older. No minors in the photo. Confirm permission before uploading. A solo photo helps the AI select the intended person. Uploading another person's photo without their consent is prohibited.

Permission does not authorize generating the deepfake content prohibited under Section 2.1.

3. Platform moderation

Alibaba Cloud Content Moderation (Alibaba Cloud Content Security) reviews photos before and after upload; finished videos are reviewed after generation and before display or download. Our prompt blocklist is maintained by the site engineer and updated at least monthly. APIMart nsfw checks provide an additional safeguard. Operations staff manually view moderation records and handle reports and appeals; automated results and human decisions are recorded separately.

L1: low-risk signals; L2: Uncertain results are not delivered and the use is returned automatically; operations staff review moderation records. L3: prohibited content blocked; L4: severe suspected illegal content blocked and referred to authorities where required. These levels guide human review; automated checks keep their original results.

4. Reporting

Report suspected prohibited content, rights violations, unsafe uploads or an incorrect moderation decision. Email support@memevideo.app with the page/video reference and reason; do not send illegal media. Reports are handled confidentially on a need-to-know basis and assessed fairly. Abusive or knowingly false reports may be restricted.

5. Reporting channels

The report action on video pages opens an email to support@memevideo.app. Include the page/video reference and reason; do not attach illegal media. Reports are handled by the MemeVideo support team; response times are set out in section 6.

6. Response time

We aim to acknowledge reports within 3 business days. We aim to review and act on reports within 7 business days. Urgent safety cases are prioritized.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may warn, remove content, refuse or withhold delivery of prohibited content, restrict functions, suspend or ban accounts, and refer suspected serious illegal conduct to law enforcement where legally required. No financial penalties are imposed by this policy.

8. Appeals

Appeal at support@memevideo.app, with the decision reference and reasons. A human reviews the original automated result and records a separate decision. We aim to respond to appeals within 14 days.
