1. Controller and data collected

Legal name: MemeVideo. Privacy email: support@memevideo.app.

We collect account email and sign-in information; photos of you (your likeness); generated videos; upload and checkout consent evidence; order references, plan, amount, payment status and time; sharing/report requests; moderation labels, risk scores, human-review decisions and technical/error logs. Waffo Pancake handles payment details; we do not store full card details.

Processing your photo to prepare images and create your video can involve analysing facial features and biometric-related data. This processing is used to create your video and perform the required safety review.

2. Purposes

We use data to generate and deliver videos, review photos/prompts and finished videos for safety, manage accounts and purchases, prevent abuse, handle reports and support, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your photos or use inputs to train models without explicit consent.

3. Retention and deletion

Original photos and intermediate images are deleted from our storage after 72 hours. If an active job still needs an image, the 72-hour clock starts when its last job finishes or fails. Finished videos are deleted 30 days after completion. Drafts expire after 24 hours; this stops draft access and does not replace the media deletion schedule.

We request deletion of photo assets from APIMart’s asset library when a job finishes or fails and retry recorded failures. Copies held by our AI providers are subject to their own retention policies. We cannot delete generated image/video URLs held by APIMart or review copies held in Alibaba Cloud OSS from our storage controls.

Consent records, order/payment and credit ledgers, and moderation logs are kept for up to 5 years after your last activity, as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal claims, and are then deleted or anonymized.

4. Recipients and international transfers

Cloudflare provides hosting and storage through Workers, D1 and R2. APIMart processes generation inputs for GPT Image 2.5 image preparation and Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance) video generation. Alibaba Cloud Content Moderation (Alibaba Cloud Content Security) reviews photos and finished videos in Singapore (ap-southeast-1). Resend processes sign-in verification emails. Waffo processes payments as our Merchant of Record. Your photos may be transferred abroad to third-party processors. These providers may process data in Singapore, the United States, China and other countries where they operate. We rely on each provider's contractual data-protection terms and, where required, on your consent.

5. Rights and security

Subject to applicable law, request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent at support@memevideo.app; you may complain to the appropriate supervisory authority. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address linked to your account, and we respond within 30 days. We restrict access and keep videos private unless you enable sharing; media access expires when the stored video is deleted. Support will process rights requests; not all rights have a self-service control.

6. Age

Minimum age is 18. Do not use the service or upload photos if you are under 18.

7. Updates and contact
